The new radio in my 940 wagon works perfectly on FM but AM is only static. Stereo shop told me it was the radio so I replaced it but ... same thing. It has the antenna in the side cargo window and someone mentioned there may be a bad antenna amplifier? It that likely the the issue? What, where and how expensive & difficult is it to replace?
