Default 940 Heater/AC Fan Quit

Fan just quit with no squealing, intermittent running etc. I'm sensing that this is a voltage supply issue. Where do I start to trace the circuit. TD

Have removed the blower resistor & am hunting for a replacement. Can the resistor be checked with a VOM? Can I hot wire the fan at one of the plugs that connect to the resistor so I know that it's working before I replace the resistor?

Is the fan motor OK? If the resistor is bad you'd still have fan function in 5.

After removing the resistor & then the fan I discovered an overheated hot lead on the fan connector itself. Repaired that and all is now working well. An all it cost me was time!! Only question is why the overheated connector? Maybe it's just 22yrs of use? Fan removal was almost enjoyable as I reflect back to replacing fans on 140s and 240s. Still can't beat the fan R&R on an old 122 however. TD
