940 parts
I have a 1995 940 that i am trying to sell. Not having much luck selling it, people just aren't understanding the quality of my well taken care of '95 Volvo
so i was thinking about parting it off and selling some of the parts if people need any. My car has been very well maintained and many many new parts on it. I know that they are harder to come by so i just wanted to see what the need was for any of them. This is very sad for me as I loved my Volvo more than anything. I hate to see it go to a salvage yard.

Very hard to sell 740/940 parts! Volvo people are extremely cheap, they flog these poor cars within an inch of their lives while everything that is not crucial to movement is left to fall off. Unfortunately these great cars have come to the point in the arc of their lives where they are being acquired for $100-200 as an alternative to a bus pass. I have tons of parts, every time I try to sell something, interest is slight to none, I can't even get shipping cost!

Hi Marialorraine
I sold my 940 in January or February this year after only 3-4 weeks. I still have 1991 740 also wagon which is really for parts only, since restoration would be toooooo extensive. I have problem to sell this one but I am in no rush. It can stay outside for while longer. I love these old models. They have almost therapeutic rides. I think this is the case when sum of parts is more than the total of parts. Simply it put smile on my face and I cared not to look like grinning idiot to passerby's. I have 1998 s70 and 2006v70 and both are great cars, but they are missing the down the earthiness of the 240,740 and 940 line. I hope your car will fine nice new home, since the alternative - scrap yard is terrible in its finality.
Could you send me link to your add? how much are you asking? My email is horadn@gmail.com or phone is 705 924 2229. I might be interested since I just love them. All the best Dennis
