91 740 seats
My front driver seat on my 91 740 is torn. I was thinking about just replacing the seat. Mine is heated, the one I'm looking at the owner is unsure if its heated or not. Now the question is, are most of these seats heated and if not how do I know before i drive all the way to him to find out it's not.

It's at a yard I believe. So Idk if it's with whole car
Look right under or slightly in front of the handbrake. There's 2 switches there for the heaters(left and right) if it is heated. Here's an option:

I replaced the seats in my 92 740 wagon with seats from a later 940 or maybe 960, I forget. I had to swap the connectors around a bit because they were different, and I think I swapped the seatbelt buckels too, but I got them working. the drivers seat from the 940 was powered, my original 740 wasn't, so I ran power to it. 7xx and 9xx seats have the exact same floor bolt pattern (not 100% of the 960 II post-facelift car circa 1995, they changed a lot)

Heated seats have three wire plugs, non heated, two, coming from the seat to the connectors to the car, in case the seat is out of the car... Many seats have the heated elements broken by now, a simple continuity test with a multimeter tells you.
It's out of car so the connectors will be best way for me. Thank you
