Question How do 940's handle in snow?

How do 940 sedans handle in the snow?

I'm looking at buying a '95 940 sedan with 155k, in beautiful shape. I live in Western PA where we get decent snowfall and I live out in the country where some roads are never clear (some are never even plowed). Can someone please tell me how well this RWD handles in the snow? (Snow tires are implied.) I sort of have to assume that the Swedes can make a car that goes in the snow since they get a LOT of snow there.

Thanks!

The car does have limited slip rear end, so that helps. The rest is tires--more important than anything else--with good tires or chains these cars will go anywhere.

They're decent, just some nice blizzak's or some Hakkapeliitta Q tires and you can go anywhere.

Volvos also have excellent ground clearance, so snow drifts are no problem.

The '95 940 is arguably the best RWD Volvo ever produced. If you can find one with minimal rust and hasn't been abused it will likely serve you well.
