940 Wagon - Flapping Headlight
Just got a 1995 940 Wagon. Pretty cool car. Got some work to do though.
The passenger side headlight just flaps if you tap it. Looks like there are some sort of mounting screws (looks plastic and white) on each side of the headlight and the one on the inside is missing, causing the headlight to have a sort of screen door in the wind characteristic.
I drove the car at night and the lights seemed to work well enough. I haven't decided if I am going to keep this car or sell it. Might just get some plastic ebay lights or some nicer glass ones if I keep it. But for now my first choice is to just fix the existing assembly. Any thoughts?

Those plastic screws can be replaced depending on how badly and if the base is broken, if you can get them-from a salvage yard. otherwise just have to improvise and rig something up. otherwise u'd have to change the whole assmbly-$$$$
IIRC, there should be some snap in square sockets that go into the headlight housing, that the adjusting screws go into... pretty common and not just on volvos... should be able to pick some up at the local stealership pretty cheap. HTH
