i have a 1983 volvo 240dl and im in the process of chopping it and turning it into a toy. i have been looking for an adjustable coilover system for the front and havent been able to find a bolt in kit. anyone know where to find such parts? i tried general web searching and ebay motors as well as numerous manufacturer websites. thanks

yeah i have and there are a few that say they will fit then when you check their fitment guide they straight say it wont fit my model. im not about to spend a few hundred to find out if it fits or not. i would be much more interested in not sarcastic advise. i just want to know if it says that it will fit other 240s will it also fit my 83 cause ive had trouble locating a part that says its compatible with my exact year and model.

 

I'm not sure what you are reading, but everything I listed has stuff to fit every year.
All 240s use the same suspension. the only difference is when you get into the ABS holes in the struts for the sensor. something your car doesn't have, so don't worry about that. Sounds like you are only looking into those "random universal" companies like BC. Avoid them.
