I just refurbished a set of aluminum wheels for my 89 740. I am also due for a set of front pads soon so I am looking for a low dust set of pads. Has anyone found a set of ceramic pads that will do the trick. Just asking . Thanks

 

Meaning you can not find ceramic pads for the front wheels? I noticed the same thing. I don't think ceramic pads should go on the front wheels, or so I read... The only other front pads I see for mine that claim low dust is here 1985-1993 Volvo 240 Turbo Front Brake Pads | Volvo Brake Parts. I was kind of wondering the deal myself so yeah, anyone else have a little more insight?

 

I just installed Akebono Euro pads on the front of my 02 V70XC. Almost no noticable dust at all

 

I've heard about them from some Audi folks but they do not make a front set for my 89 740. I'm still looking
