Default Any tips for getting flame trap hose back on?

Now I'm not sure why I took it off, but any tips on getting the flame trap hose back on the oil separator/breather box in an '82 245? There is a line blocking the tube and I can't seem to squeeze the flame trap hose onto the tube past this other line.

I'm not certain what this other line is, looks like maybe a fuel line.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Well, after struggling for an hour to put on a 5/8 hose for the ipd flame trap relocation kit I just put the old flame trap hose back on with the new flame trap in it. Talk about the solution being more complicated than the problem.

Trying to put this relocation kit in turned a simple 10 minute job into a mini-drama.
