Default Aw70 to M46 swap on 91 240

Hey guys I have a 1991 volvo 240 sedan with b230f and aw70. I want to put a turbo in it (small amount of boost though) and thought I might as well put a manual in it because I'm probably gonna blow up the auto plus there more fun. I was wondering what it takes to do it? Is the m46 the same size as the aw70 length wise, is the bell housing the same bolt pattern, is the trany mount is the same spot, what exactly would I need to buy (trany, pedal, hydraulic hoses...)? Would the m46 just drop right in or would I need to buy a smaller drive shaft? I just want to know what I'm getting into before I try to start, and yes I know it's not a very simple task. Any help would be awesome Thanks Guys

Pedal box, driveshaft (I think), OD control, clutch cable, etc. Probably some more stuff.

note the AW70/71 is a generally considered a more robust transmission than the m46

for turbocharging, your best bet would be to get a complete turbo engine from a 1993-1995 940 Turbo, and transplant the whole thing. you'll want the intercooler (and I don't know if a 940 intercooler fits directly into a 240 or not). the 940's from 1992+ have no mechanical fan, they use a larger 2-speed electric fan in front of the radiator instead, I'd plan on trying to transplant that, too.
