Hi - I have a 1986 240 wagon. The family and I strap the canoe to the roof and often end up on logging roads en route to putting into the water/camping.

The car performs well enough but the exhaust sometimes takes a hit.

I need new tires - what would be the widest tire that I could go to - would P205 work or rub? I am thinking of a light truck tire . . . might not make sense . . . my volvo has an identity crisis - it is my truck.

Any thoughts on suspension lifting would be welcome.
