Bad Acceleration
Ive got a 91 240 and for nearly a month now its been struggling to drive. It has a very poor acceleration. I can only get it up to speed limit if I barley press on the pedal and let it build up speed slowly. The fastest ive gotten it is 60. If i attempt to press the pedal down anymore the car will completely lose all acceleration and start to "sputter" or "bog down" (for lack of a better word). I can put the pedal completely to the floor and the car will actually slow down.
So far I have replaced the Fuel pressure regulator, every fuse, the IAC, I cleaned the throttle body and the MAF sensor (which got rid of the code it was giving me), The air and fuel filter, the oil, the transmission fluid and the throttle position sensor.
Not sure really what to do next. This is my final effort on getting this fixed before i sell for scrap.
Thanks for your time.
