Default battery discharging on a 92 240DL

Ok the the battery is waking up dead everytime i charged it I want to autozone they say the battery is ok the altenator is chargin. they say sometime is causin the battery to died dont know what it cpuld be we took it to an electromechanic he say it was a relay inside the dash and that he needed to dismantle all of it he is not a volvo specialist so i didnt do the job i didnt trust him. so what u guys think my problems any info would be aprreciate it thanks in advance

You've got a short somewhere bud. Id get a test light and see where its coming from.

An ammeter inserted between the positive battery terminal and the positive battery cable should read about 5-10 mA, depending on your clock and radio. Before disconnecting the battery cable turn the radio off. Some radio codes get messed up if the juice is cut off while it's still turned on.

If the ammeter reads significantly above that you can isolate the problem. Remove fuses one at a time from the fuse panel and watch the ammeter.

Sometimes the glove box light stays on. Sometimes the overhead courtesy light stays on.
