Can I throw a turbo on my NA 1984 240 Wagon?
I know there were turbo versions of '84 Volvos, is there a particular model of engine I need to be able to make this modification? More specifically, can i take one off the engine of a similar Volv?
Real noob question, just curious.

The cheapest way is to find a turbo car of the same year or model as yours and buy the whole car. There are lots of little, annoying to find parts you always need with things like this, parts people always forget about when they say "yeah, it was easy!".
The parts they always say "oh....yeah that's right" when reminded about it two years later.......

If I swap over the whole car, doesn't that mean all that many more parts? J/K... Good idea, I'll just have to hope they didn't part-out key components to the turbo...
I wouldn't mess with a turbo from a 81-85 240 turbo, you can step up to a turbo engine, wiring harness, amm, ecu system from a 92-95 940 Turbo. Parts are readily available new or used and more reliable in the long run.
