Car stalls in reverse, then takes forever to start
I have a 93 940. Is seems like when the car is cold, it starts and runs fine. But when it warms up, it starts all its problems. I can go to Drive just fine , but when I go to reverse on a warm engine it just stalls (example when I park at a store a few miles down the road). Then I have to push it out of the spot. However, after I get the car moving for a few miles it goes back into reverse. So the problem is intermitant. But then when it stalls, I have a terrible time starting it again. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Cleaned out throttle body, newer plug wires, plugs, dist cap, cleaned injectors, new fuel pump relay, newer timing belt. I think thats about it.
Does it seem like the car is locking up in reverse when it happens.
Sounds funny but once it stalls will the car roll if you leave the shifter in reverse?
