Question about the wiring on the center brake light, it appears to go to the light panels in the trunk, wired in line i guess? mine won't work. i've change the assembly, bulb checked the wires. how is this thing connected to get power?

Can i rewire it off a wire on the trunk lights? or am i missing some minute detail.

any help appreciated

Can you see the same colors in the trunk?

 

yes but the color wires go to the right side brake light, the wires run down the left. strange

not a bad ground or anything already checked that
