New to the sit, so- Hello All.

The central locking on my '93 240 Estate will unlock all 5 doors every time, but only lock anything other than the drivers door occasionally.

If the locking does lock, it locks all 5 doors.

This is very annoying if only opening the drivers door to put something in/take something out or leaving the car at the filling station etc, as all 5 doors have to be locked individually.

The manual mentions relays behind the clock panel, and instructs the removal of the central column. I removed the clock/panel and the blank below, but checking with a torch I couldn't see anything that looked to be a relay. Before I take the dash apart, are the relays there and are they likely to be the problem?

Any suggestions/advice will be very welcome.
