Default Changing engines

Changing engines
(Forum Issues)
Okay here's what's happening, I am taking a 1986 740 GLE non turbo engine out .and putting it in and 1987 740 Turbo , other than the turbo won't work on there .what other issues will I find. like... motor mounts ,exhaust pipe from head back .wiring harness ECU
​​​​​​ Or anything else that that may interfere or be difference

i'd swap the whole engine harness, ECU, ICU, and about everything else related, to be sure. a non-turbo has the airbox and batteries on opposite sides, of course it has no intercooler. turbo uses different injectors that require ballast resistors, nonturbo injectors do not use ballast resistors. motor mounts should be the same (ok, turbo uses heavier duty ones, but those can be used with the non-turbo motor just fine).
