Default Correct way to apply thread lock.

I would like to know if you have to wait for the thread lock to dry on a bolt before installing it or can I install the bolt into place with the thread lock wet. I am replacing the sway bar links and want to make sure that the bolts going into the cast iron arms don't work their way loose over time.

Threadlocker is an anaerobic resin. Meaning it only cures in the absence of air when metal is present. So it will not "dry" on a bolt. Install it wet.

Thread lock not required on sway bar links, usually finer thread on bolts.

Thanks for the heads up. Do any of the bolts in the front suspension require thread lock. I am just concerned about them working their way loose over time. I am rebuilding the front end, new ball joints, bushings, and inner tie rods.

depending on the inner tie rods your rack has, they MIGHT need blue locktite, unless there's locking washers (the kind you bend over the wrench flats of the body of the inner rod). afaik, everything else is held in place strictly by using the appropriate torque.
