Default correct way to bypass the heater core matrix

My heater core is leaking lately, since i am living in the tropical i do not require the heater system in my car. The question is, what is the correcy way to bypass the heater core matrix permenantly. It is by using 2 end caps to close the two points on the engine side or by joining the 2 points by using a hose. In my opinion by using the bypass hose is not good idea because we are injecting back the hot coolant into the engine thus bypassing the radiator. Need opinion on this issue. Thank you.

To araminta

I tried to use radiator hose end caps at the 2 point on the engine side but one of them burst because of high coolant preessure. Right now I am using back the loop but with a valve at the centre of the loop, i.e cut the loop at the middle and installed a valve. To prevent hot coolant from going back the engine the valve needs to be closed all the time. So far it has worked well till now
