1. I didn't see an ID tag on the transmission unless it is covered with grease and grime, so.....How can I tell which automatic transmission the grandson's soon-to-be 1990 240 DL has? Or were they all an AW70/71 (granted it is not a turbo so most likely AW70), but I'd still like to know for sure.

2. How do you read the codes from the OBD I box in the engine bay (with the A and B series of holes) I had one on our old 95 850 Turbo, but I forgot over the years how to check and read the codes.
