I have a crank no start issue and am out of ideas. I have read every forum I can find on this issue. My eyes hurt from it and looking at this car.
IT IS NOT THE RELAY.
IT STARTS WITH STARTER FLUID
JUMPING THE 4TH AND 6TH FUSE ALLOW THE PUMPS TO TURN ON, BUT NOT TURN OVER THE ENGINE.
THE 25 AMP FUSE BEHIND THE BATTERY IS NOT CORRODED.
NO WIRES IN THE MAIN HARNESS OR IGNITION HARNESS APPEAR FRAID EVEN AFTER OPENING THE LOOM.
THIS HAS BEEN AN ON GOING ISSUE AND IT WOULD EVENTUALLY START AND RUN FOR A COUPLE HUNDRED MILES BEFORE SHUTTING OFF WITH WEEKS IN BETWEEN.
THE FUEL PUMPS DO NOT TURN ON WITHOUT JUMPING THE FUSES OR RELAY.
IF I JUMP THE FUSE OF THE RELAY AND TRY TO START THE CAR IT WILL NOT FIRE.
IT IS NOT THE CRANK SENSOR, AS THAT DOES NOT AFFECT THE PUMPS NOT TURNING ON.
I feel like it's most likely the ignition control module or it's the dang ECU in the passenger floor though i cant afford to put money without feeling confident in my decision.
it has had idle surges before.
I am at my wits end.
You don't mention if there is spark at the plugs or pulses on the low side of the coil. Are the injectors spraying or pulses at the injector terminals?
