different degrees for the thermostats ?

Default different degrees for the thermostats ?

i want to change the thermostat in my 86' 244DL but am confused with the different degrees they have, does it really matter which one i buy ? i live in New york

My opinion, 87C.

In the northern climates, the car came originally with a 92 C thermostat. This is what I use (Chicago area). In hotter climates, 89 C or 87 C is recommended.
