early OBD?

Do '84 fuel injected Volvos have any kind of built-in error reader like a flashing engine light? how do I access it?

From: 37 North on the left coast

more specifically, 1989+ non-turbos and 1990+ turbos got LH 2.4 injection, this has blink-code diagnostics. the older LH-II and LH 2.2 systems had no diagnostics at all.
