Default Electrical Issues

This is a new one to me. I have 4-240's and never had this issue before. Started up the car and while driving all of a sudden there seemed to be an electrical issue. Blower motor for a/c went off and a few idiot lights came on. Car did not stall. All of this lasted for about 5 seconds and then went away.

I spun all fuses and checked alternator belts/wires and output at battery(13.5 volts)

Any ideas would be appreciated?

Could be your ignition switch. Next time jiggle the key to see if that changes anything.

I had the same issue with my 240. Except my SRS light would come on and then I would have no headlights, AC, radio, or power windows. Took out the center console and there was some real flaky wiring behind there. Check for wiring there first.

flakey wiring is a big issue on 1983-1987 inclusive, when they used 'biodegradable' wiring, as an attempt at getting on the RoHS (reduction of hazardous substances) bandwagon early on. 88+ uses better wiring
