Default flooded 240

[hr]Hi, I'm new to the forum and am looking for advice concerning our 93 240. It was running fine and then got stuck in a downpour on the highway. It stalled out but was able to be pushed out of a large puddle that come on suddenly and sent water up the sides of the doors. About 6 inches got inside the front floor. The shop has determined that the SRS sensors are shot and would have to be replaced at about $1900 before labor. The car also has a rough sound when driving but that has not been diagnosed yet. The body is in great shape, no rust and the trim is good. What is the advice on going ahead and getting it back on the road? I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks
