Default Fuel Injectors Not getting Power

Ok i own a 1993 940 volvo sedan and as i was driving the car and it just shut down on me the car turns over when you turn the key switch well we had taken the car to a mechanic shop and he said the fuel pump was good and im getting gas so then he said its one of two problems the Engine control module witch he would fix and program to my car for 415$ or it could be the injectors not getting power and he was 90% sure it was the injectors so how could i go about fixing this problem and what would i have to replace? thanks

The injectors recieve their pulse signal from the ecm. Is the ecm getting battery constant power,(keep alive memory) and ignition power (wake up) ? Have all the fuses been checked ? Sounds like a power supply issue. Fuses,or wire harness plug ect. ?

Or it could be something like the crank pos. sensor, which is what I'd look at first... ECM, not likely. Get someone who knows these cars to help you with it-this mechanic doesn't seem to be that guy...
