Default Fuel pump oddity

Hello folks, I'm a relatively new owner to a 1989 Volvo 244 that's in great shape. I've done much of the needed maintenance and driven it for months enjoying it.
The last maintenance Item on my list was to replace the fuel filter.
With the rear of the car up on ramps, I dropped the cradle that holds the pump and filter, disconnecting the yellow and black wires from the pump. Replaced the filter on the bench and then re-installed everything back on the car, carefully reattaching the yellow and black wires to their respective (and clearly marked) locations.

Well now the pump won't work. I have no power to the yellow wire at the pump. In fact, the oddity is there is no power at the #4 fuse (in tank pump) but do have power at the #6 fuse (main pump)
What could possibly have gone wrong?
Thanks
Pete

the pump relay should be near the drivers feet at the left under the carpet along with the window wiper delay relay. pull the wires it should come out from there.
you might have dented or damaged main pump, i know that filter can be real tough to get loose.
I added a little indicator lamp in parallel to those terminals so i can see it's on. maybe you pinched or tugged a wire. it might have a failed crimp connector?

behind fuses wires have spade connectors, they might be chorroded, fuse holders too.
