where is the fuel pump relay located on a 1991 volvo 940 thanks

 

On a 940, under the radio panel, over the ashtray/fuse compartment.
On a '91 940SE, which is really a 960 interior wise, it's in the same general area but accessing it is a little trickier...

the 960/940SE relay panel is on the right side of the transmission hump, readily accessible if you remove the passenger side foot well cover.

on a regular 940(and 740), you remove the ashtray and the cigar lighter/cubbie box above it for easiest access. the cigar lighter + cubbie comes out if you remove the plastic bezel around the cigar lighter then the screw under it.
