gas in the oil
I justdecided to put my volvo back together. I left it sit for awhile due to the cold. I had some running issues with it when I parked it. They mostly pointed to the air mass sensor. Well I got a garage to put it in and fix it. I drove it there and it was flooding out. I put in the mass sensor a new intake gasket and coolant temp sensor. When checking other parts I found due to flooding I had a good bit of gas in the oil. Also it ruined my cam seal. Other than the obvious oil change and maybe plugs, they are pretty new put don't look great now, should I look at anything else before starting it up. I am also putting in a new heatercore. I just flushed the cooling system and gave it a new thermostat, also a new flame trap kit. I think the coolant flush finished the old core. The coolant temp sensor was leaking. By the way it is a 1990 740 gl wagon B230 8 valve automatic, I have about $600 in it now including buying the car. I really like the thing so I definately want to fix it right.
