I had this whole cluster **** with my old radio with the battery going dead before I got the car from my old man and never finding out the code then taking out the original one since it was useless to me , then trying to put in a new one , I cut the original harness but still have it. wassup kervin. let me tell you right now circuit city is crap for it. one thing they might tell you is that they are going to need to rewire the whole system because the car is old and that there's some stuff that volvo did that they have to correct. its an extra 100 is what they told me. just made me mad and i just did the install myself. but to answer your question get that harness on there asap because circuit city will charge you a bang for that crap. in my opinion installing the radio is so easy that anyone can do it themselves. i did it so well i did the entire sound system myself too. just looked at the stuff you're going to buy and you dont need the harness because your car already has one. i just worked off the stuff i already had in the car and it came out perfect. i just had the radio and didnt have to buy anything else but a soldering tool, electric tape, and shrink wrap.
