Hello eveyone. I am new (again) to this forum and have problems.
First the car is a '90 240dl wagon.

Recently the headlights stopped switching to high beam, so the relay was replaced. Did not solve the problem. Playing with the lever, the high beams will turn on and off, but with no regularity.
Is it the lever itself?

Next, the intermittent wiper setting does not delay the wipe. They operate as normal constant wiper setting. The relay has been replaced.
Is it the lever itself?

could very well be the switches in the lever (which are all an assembly). could be the connector thats plugged into them. I'd be in there with the wiring diagrams and a digital volt meter to diagnose what exactly is the problem, rather than just swapping parts at random.
