Default headlight problems

When I switch my park lights on, everything operates normaly. Dash lights and park lights come on. When I switch to the headlights, nothing....no headlights, all interior lights go out. If the radio is on while I'm switching the headlights on and off, there's a short amount of static...I'm not sure if that's relevant. But when i flip my highbeams, they come on till I let go. Fuses are okay but I can't tell the condition of the relay upon visual inspection. Please advise.

Thanks for the compliment! They're 17" Enkei's, model RSF-2. Got 'em on eBay!

I see you fixed your headlights, but I was to suggest your "K" relay was the problem.

To verify, you would be able to get high beams, but no low beams. To test swapping "J" for "K" with or without keys in would give you lo beams.
Take the J back out, and go find a K in junkyard $$$cheap.
Please put your J back in.

Hopefully, this can not only help you, but someone else also.

Thanks for the advice! All I really did was pull the K relay, clean the contacts, then replaced. Since a dirty relay caused so much worry, I went ahead and gave them all a thorough cleaning. You're right, others could still benefit from your tip.
