Pardon my newb-ness getting all over the place. I'm an audi guy and usually stick to QuattroWorld but my mother has a 240 and is in need of a part. I told her I'd see what I could do.

It's a 92 240 and I need the latch handle for the back seat. It broke clean off last winter and the local indie volvo place said he could get it. A year later we call to follow up and he can't. So now it falls to me to find this part and/or install it.

So, who has one/where can I find one and how do I get this seat back apart?

Hmmm...Volvo changed up the seat back latch in 84 or 85. Not certain if it changed again before they pulled the plug in 93. I'd recommend registering on turbobricks.com and then running a want ad in the classifieds. I'm parting my 89 245 as we speak but the leather seats are already sold so can't help you. Or...you might check the local salvage yards.
