Default Help with '94 volvo 940 SE 2.4 TD

Hello everybody,
I hope someone has some advice for me. I puchased my 1st ever volvo a few months back. As i have noticed that the engine is a VW, and a friend of mine drives a 94 VW Transporter(also with the same engine so he told me)on vegetable oil, I thought i'll give it a try. The car has been driving fine on veg oilfor the last few weeks now. But this morning she just wouldn't start. Engine is turning, but not running. Tried to glow her for several minutes, but no joy. Even to push start her didn't help. When trying to start there is some white smoke coming out of the exhaust but no more. Would it help if i put some more diesel in and maybe a cup of petrol? Anyone having any suggestions and advice would be very helpful.

Thank you

I am no diesel expert but you need some modifications before you can safely use veg. oil. If you just started pouring it in instead of diesel, you'll need professional help, like a diesel mechanic. Barring that, I'd start by cleaning ALL veg oil from the fuel system, and may be you get lucky...
