Kaphlenke racing short strut coilovers.
RSI short strut coilovers.
Custom coilovers.
Or, bag it.

Cheap? Slamming requires some planning and $$$ to be done right.

You can always cut the stock springs (3-4 coils off) and run the shocks and struts on the bumpstops. Not the best way, or safest way to do it, but people do it.

also,

check the for sale section on turbobricks.com
I think you might find a few suspension pieces here and there.

I completely cut the coils out in the back, it's riding on the bump stops, but way stiffer shocks in it to cushion what bumps that cause the axle to hop. It rides good, but on bumpy roads you'll lose your kidneys!

Now, for the front.. I have decided how I can, or want to. I know I won't get it as long as the back without turning issues

Thats the lowest it'll go in the back AKA riding on the bump stops

You probably can't get it that low in the front with the tires, needing to turn and all.

ok i don't know much about cars.. this is my first car. what do you mean by riding on the bump stops? like as in the top part is touching the bump stop? so the spring is really not doing anything?

There is a rubber bumper coming off the frame right above the axle, where it's close to the wheel. It prevents the axle from making metal-to-metal contact with the frame.

The springs, if installed will do stuff, BUT if you cut them down real short, Or take them out completely, it will ride on the bump stops. I do suggest however, if you take the springs out, to get a more heavy duty shock, so that way it can still give the axle SOME support.

Also; If I might add, This will probably NOT work if you have the Independent rear suspension setup, I have the solid axle.

Or you can just leave it like it is and not create yourself a bunch of problems in the future and be able to sell it eventually... But hey, that's just me.

Problems...

Well there is actually a few, here is a couple...
The drivetrian will not line up causing the componets to wear You will need adjustable pan hard bar and torque rods to center the axle.
You will need to replace your bushings and install them so they are working at an optimum angle. This includes front and rear. The bushings will wear very fast if this is not done. You will scrape everything.
You will need to upgrade the shocks and struts. You will have to source them from another car, move to koni racing or shorten billsteins, or get current ones revalved and shorten, for the stock ones are too tall and you will blow them out.

Like I said. Takes planning and money to do it right.
But 3 coils will be manageable.

ok thank you for the info... i think im going to wait a bit to see if anything comes up on turbobricks. after researching it more cutting springs just seems to sketchy and will have more problems down the road than its worth... like you guys are saying.

also could some one tell me if this will work for my car, my driver side window wont roll down. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_500wt_1182 i just want to make sure and how hard is it to install? thanks again

Check the switches first. The switch is probably dirty and needs to be cleaned.
I have a same problem on the 745, I just haven't gotten around to opening the switch.
The window regulators are not the easiest things to replace.

Do you open up the switch itself? The rocker on the inside is probably contaminated. Scrape off the crap very carefully.
