If someone has a yard stick handy, I need to know the height (in inches) of the opening for the cargo area of a wagon. The measurement from top center to bottom center would be fine.

I've got a fairly large dog crate; and I would sleep better if I knew for sure it would fit through the opening. I don't know if the 240, 740, and 940 are all the same; but I'm assuming they will be close to the same.

I not sure which wagon I will find to buy...pretty sure it will be one of the above.

My '92 740, same as my 940, is 30" high by 50" wide, at their greatest.

 

Thanks for the info. I was afraid of that...my crate for the dog is exactly thirty inches tall. I was hoping it would fit without collapsing the crate.

 

Well, it's actually just a tad MORE than 30", more like 30 1/2. I guess you'd have to try it-but once it clears the opening it's got more room. I'd think that if you angle it, it'd be alright.

 

On my 240 the vertical opening is 31" at the center and about 30.5" at the sides.
