Ideas about painting my Grill?
I did my bumpers a while back with Forever Black and they came out very nice and new looking. Now my Front Grill on my 740 could use a paint job to make it NICE AND BLACK, so i was wondering if any of you guys have done this, and have any tips/ ideas? Thanks.

Good results are all in the preparation. Make sure the surface temperature is at least 65f deg.. You might want to scuff up the surfaces w/light sandpaper(ie:800 grit) and then wash off all of the dust. Assuming that you're using a spray can....try to buy one can of dark-colored primer and one can of BLACK base color in the same brand to ensure compatablity. Always 'test spray' each can on an expendable surface before trying to paint the grill. Apply one thin coat of primer and allow it to dry completely. Depending upon the finish quality of your first primer coat, you can either lightly wet sand it and respray it w/ a second primer coat or go right for a base color coat. And as always......2 thin coats are much better than 1 thick coat. I hope this helps!
Good Luck!

I don't mean to hijack this thread but what is plastidip? I have several interior panels that I want to dye on a Nissan 720 pickup that I'm restoring for my father-in-law, is this the product that I need to look for and if so where can I buy it?
Thanks,
Dale
