Default Idle adjustment

I would like to know how I can raise the idle on my 940? It is idling at 500 rpm's which is too lower. It is causing the car to idle rough. It use to idle at around 800, is that where it should be once I adjust it, thanks.

Idle doesn't normally need adjusting; computer is supposed to control it. I'd check out the I.A.C. (Idle Air Control) valve first..

I will check and clean the IAC valve. One thing that I forgot to mention is that it only happens when the A/C is on. When the A/C is off it idles smooth and at 800 rpm's.

I cleaned the I.A.C. valve and the throttle body and the low and rough idling has gone away. They did not appear to be too dirty when I looked at them before cleaning but apparently they were enough to cause problems. Joseph, thanks for the help.
