Ignition Switch won't return
940 Wagon non-Turbo
In hot weather when I start the engine the ignition switch will not automatically return to the run position.
Aside from training myself to push it back after the engine starts, is there somewhere I can lubricate so the return spring has an easier time of it?
PS I assume this spring is in the ignition lock mechanism rather than the electrical switch...

The spring is part of the electrical part of the switch.
You will need to replace the switch to get it back to 100%
You can try lubbing the lock cylinder to make it work for now.It might help and it might not.
