Inner Tie Rods

Does anyone know if I need a special tool to change the inner tie rods on my 1992 Volvo 940GL?

I just use an adjustable wrench after bending the safety tabs out of the way.

Nothing special needed. I didn't have a big enough adjustable wrench, so I used a pipe wrench. It worked great.
