Default ISO Volvo 240 Engine Crossmember

Had a little accident while off-roading the 240 and have damaged the engine cross-member passed what I can repair. Also did some decent damage to the passenger control arm but have sourced a replacement.

What cross-member are you looking for? The one that holds the rear of the transmission or the one underneath the engine? The transmission cross-member is readily available from Volvo. Not so sure about the one under the engine. To replace the engine cross-member requires quite a bit of work.

Unfortunately I need the one under the engine that the steering rack mounts to.

I seriously doubt an OEM Volvo crossmember would be anywhere near $80, or that it'd be available.

dunno, volvopartswebstore is a dealer, they claim its still in the catalogs. the acid test would be to order it, if its unobtanium, they would mark it NLA going forward.

I believe the part he is referring to is item #1 in this diagram:

https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/s...rimLevel=28242

However, the parts listing below the image doesn't show #1. I suspect it is NLA.

The part that Pierce quoted is the support that the radiator sits in.
