working on a 78 volvo 240, steering rack failed again. first time we went through hell with cardone racks, the 5th time around we got in touch with the manager and he personally rebuilt one, the others all ran full power to the left all the time. and now after 3 years its dumping fluid. so i went through all my parts suppliers and found one made by maval (never heard of them before, but must be better than cardone), and after a week its dumping fluid out both ends into the bellows boots, which were about to explode when i looked into why it was losing fluid.

has anyone found a company that makes good racks for these older volvos? any help would be appreciated
