Hello, just joined this form thanks,
I've got issues with my 240 89 manual ☹️.
​​​​​​Fuse 6 blows after a period of time, i cant hear the fuel pump, but it does just about start and with any throttle it runs very roughly.
I'm in the belief the main fuel pump has failed shorted, but the in tank one is still working?
Would you guys go with this explanation?

The feeder pump in the gas tank is only capable of about 15 Psi, the main pump boosts it up to ~45 psi. I've never seen a car able to run on just the feeder pump after the main pump stops working.
