Just Bought a Volvo 240 1987 DL Radio issues?
Hey so I just bought a 240 Volvo I love it. It's been decently taken care of. The only problem this one really has are a few quirks that I'm wondering are because of the wiring etc. The gas guage doesn't work it's stuck so you have to pay attention to how much gas you are putting in.
The Radio/Cassette player doesn't work at all it has no power too it. What could be causing this and how should I go about fixing it in terms of who to take it too or advice in general?
Also I paid 1150 for this car and it only has 129k on it which isn't a lot of miles for this Volvo I don't believe. It is in decent condition. Did I make a good buy? I've heard these cars are almost bullet proof but the little costs do seem a bit pricey. In total it seems to be a cool car (The best car Volvo made in my opinion is the 240).
In any case any help or comments on the above are appreciated . Thanks In Advance.

If you're happy with the car, then you made a good buy. Second guessing after the sale is pointless. I will tell you this upfront. While the 240 is essentially bullet proof, the downside is people ahead of you may very well have ignored a lot of maintenance. For the car to be kept drivable, you should learn to do much of the simple work. Buy a good repair manual and learn all you can about these cars; forums like this one can fill in the knowledge gaps. As to the radio, I really don't hold Volvo radios in high regard. I generally replace them within a week or two of purchase...
