Key

Hi
I have a 1990 240 sedan. When the key is turned too far the overdrive light comes on and the lights don't work.
Is this a faulty ignition switch or is there a problem with the key barrel?

The switch is 2 pieces where the back electrical portion can be removed and replaced. You don't need to remove the switch to replace the back half.
