Default Left signal bounces back.

Dear all,
Glad to be a Volvo owner. Just got my 1991 240 GLE two days ago. Unbelievable price($900 US). But number of minor problems here and there. The two that bug me the most are the odometer stopped and the left signal bounces back right after I hit it. So I took apart the odometer and found the broken drive-gear (25gears). But havn't got a clue about the signal's problem. The right signal is fine (normal). If I keep pressing the left signal, I can see both the front and back signal-lights flashing correctly. Could that be the relay?

Default RE: Left signal bounces back.

Sorry all, my stupidity only. It's actually the housing right behind the steering wheel got shifted upward. So whenever I hit a left signal (press down the bar), the signalling bar presses against the plastic housing. The bar then got push back before it can reach the click position.
