Looking at a '91 240
Hey,
I've never owned a Volvo, but I am currently looking at a '91 240 for my son. Can anyone give me some good gouge on what common problems to look for? The body is in GREAT shape for its age and it started right up, but I'm not familiar with Volvos. It's a 5 speed. Thanks.

great car
they are called bricks for a reason. They do have some inherent electrical issues but once resolved they run great.
Since they are so popular, there is wide ranges in condition and price out there, if you're not familiar with the car, pay to have it looked at, things like a warped head might not be obvious and should be avoided.
