Default M46 in 90 240

My car is a 90 240 with m47 tranny. My M47 is going south. I have a parts car 86 240 with an exellent M46 in it. Whats all involed in stalling the M46 in my 90 240? Will my clutb and flywheel work? Thanks in advance.

you'll need the shifter w/ the OD button, and the associated wiring for the OD solenoid and relay. AFAIK the clutch and flywheel are the same (and they'd better be, because your flywheel has the LH2.4 timing notches in it, while the 86 won't). I'm not sure if the driveshaft is the same length, be smart to hang onto the 86 driveshaft til you're sure you don't need it. if you do take a driveshaft apart, be sure to mark it so it goes back together exactly the same, as they are balanced as an assembly.
