Main Pulley
It is a 24mm socket and no puller needed to get it off.
You can use 2 prybars and carefully pry between the pulley and the timing cover on each side. It will walk off doing it that way.

when putting the crank pulley back on how do you tighten the bolt if you don't have the Volvo tool?
also separate question but does the 93 940 have a drain plug for the cooling system or do you just drain it from the radiator hose, and where is the drain?

I have a pair of Chain Vise grips that I use.
For the Drain there is one in the Block. It is next to the Downpipe for the Exhaust.
If it is Turbo then it might be in the oil cooler lines.
